:::WARNING SOME CONTENT MAY CAUSE DISTRESS:::

In February 2011 the RATS visited Kenya as part of an humanitarian rugby tour, where they spent time in Kibera, sub-sahara's largest urban slum.  Through fundraising efforts the RATS funded the introduction of a feeding program for the orphans of Kibera as well as the construction of a library at the Oasis Africa Australia (OAA) school in Kibera and a permanent access bridge for the wider Kibera community.  The team took over 500kgs of donated items such as much needed equipment, clothing, books, toys and stationery for the children cared for by the OAA school.  This is the boys story - told in their own words.
