2024 Annual Warringah Golf Day
The WRC Annual Golf Day
Welcome to the Bill Simpson Presidents Cup Golf Day, an annual event dedicated to honouring our founding President, Bill Simpson, who dutifully served as the Warringah President from 1963 to 1984. Bill had a profound passion for golf and his beloved Rats, making it fitting that this day bears his name.
This yearly Rats Golf Day features a four-ball Ambrose format complete with a breakfast spread, followed by a sit-down lunch to commemorate the occasion and present awards for on-course and off-course achievements.
This year's lunch gathering will also serve as a means to support the commendable efforts of the Rats Rising Foundation and some crucial projects slated for 2025.
The Rats Rising Program was established to retain, support, and develop the next generation of rugby talent. In 2025, the WRC will invest further into our Colts and Women's and Grade programs as well and several other community initiatives designed to enhance the development of both players and coaches, both on and off the field.
All proceeds from today's event will be directed towards financing these programs.
Join us in contributing to the growth of the next generation of rugby stars and assist us in reaching our goal of raising $25,000 today.
